Feature & A great Family Day Long Weekend

What a great weekend it was, here in Alberta it was Family Day Long weekend.  We did lots of skating this weekend. 

Chase even discovered that he didn't need to use the skate support anymore.

It was also my birthday this weekend and my girlfriends planned a girls dinner and movie night.  So good to get out with my girls.  We went out for a nice dinner and went to watch "The Vow".  

I also was able to get some more of my bedroom done this weekend.          

I have been finding it hard to do it because of all the furniture in there and the fact that I am a night time worker and since my husband actually wants to sleep that doesn't work, lol.  Hopefully I will have pictures soon to share with you.

Feature & Life of a Raisin

Hope everyone is having a good start to their week, mine has been a little crazy.  With our corporate accountant bailing 8 days before our year end taxes are supposed to be done.  We rushed to get our paperwork sent off to a new accountant who was gracious enough to taken on this large project with such limited time.  It is nice to see that there are good people out there that are willing to do what they can to help. 
I am also so excited that Nothing But Country Featured my 2x4 pumpkins today.

We are very fortunate that we live in a town with a lake, sometimes when the traffic is busier and the tourists come in droves we complain but how could life get any better than this...

Such a good day, spending time at the lake.  It took the kids awhile to feel confident that there little toes would not be bitten by fish but once they felt confident enough they had a blast.
