Christmas Stockings Anyone

Oh yes the Christmas Season is upon us and I Love It.

This year each one of the family members got a new over sized Christmas stocking.  I found this great bundle of polka dot fabric on Etsy from HB Fabrics.  I am not a conventional Red, Green & Gold Christmas kinda Girls so I thought these were pretty cool.  Each one of the boys got their pick of what color they wanted, I am not sure why nobody wanted the pink though.

I had some really great step by step photos of how I did this but lost them due to technical difficulties.

I made these with three layers per side.  Polka dot fabric, fleece fabric to give it some strength and an plain inter fabric.

I liked the idea of doing a white top so that I could add our names to them.

I brought out my vinyl cutter and used this fabric vinyl to create each name.  With the heat press I applied each name.  I made sure to put the name on both sides so their were options when displaying them.

Now just to fill them
