End Of Year Teacher Appreciation Gift

Wow another year has come and gone and my little man is not so little anymore.  With his last day of grade 2 tomorrow we are excited for the summer to begin but we had a blast this year.  His teachers have been great and he has learned so many new things.

Our teachers work so hard so at the end of the year I love to give them a little gift of appreciation, you know since they see them more than we do.

This year I thought I would put together a little beach bag with all the essentials. I found a cute little bag and then added a towel, magazine and a custom water bottle.  

       

 Keegan sat down with me and picked out the colors and the vinyl decal he thought would be best for each teacher. 

Although I know it is just a small gift for all their hard work I hope they enjoy it.

Here Comes The Bride

So the other day I bit the bullet and decided I am going to advertise my signs for sale.  That's right to complete strangers.  I have been wanting to do this for some time but just didn't have the guts to put my work out there, would anyone want to purchase them.  Well low and behold someone actually made an order for some signs.  

It is exciting to know that my signs will be included in someones special day, they will be part of their memories for a lifetime.  I couldn't be happier. 

Pretty In Pink Card Box

Oh how excited am I to be a part of such a wonderful day.  My cousin and his wife are celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary this month and they are throwing a big party.  

Us girls say make it look pretty and he says keep the cost down and make sure the bar is stocked.  Why can't there be both.  

They don't want gifts but I figured people might bring cards so I made this card box for all those wonderful cards.

The colors are bright and fun so I added a little bit of the pink to the box to add just a pop of color. 

The party is next weekend so I will be sharing some of the fun ideas we came up with for this party throughout the week.  

Bride & Groom Signs

I love how these turned out so I just couldn't wait until October to share these.  So thought I would give a little sneak peak at some wedding projects I have been working on. 

The bride I am working with is having a rustic/country wedding so I made these Bride & Groom signs for her special day.  

I can't wait to share some of the other projects I have been working on for this wedding, but I don't want to give away to many of her secrets till after October.

Dreaming Of A New Home

My Husband and me have been on a search for some property we want some land so our kids have space to run and play and have a little more privacy. We have been looking for about a year, but we feel like we are ready and it is time to find something and commit to it. It is so hard to find exactly what we want, but I know it is out there.  While we haven't found the land yet that doesn't mean a girl can't dream and come up with ideas, I mean when the time comes you have to be ready.  Well that is what I tell him anyways. 

I thought I would share some of my inspiration for the new home, by the way do you know how hard it is to find a good floor plan.  My husband says I am just picky, lol. 

I Love the look of a craftsman style home




I would love to have these sliding doors,  I love the big window that runs above it, all the light that would come in. 




I am in love with a white Kitchen, so clean and classic.  I would love the coffered ceilings but might have to keep dreaming on that. 




With having three boys I have decided that a large mudroom with lots of storage is key to a moms sanity.  I love all the build in aspects of this room.
